MISSION & VISION.
Kemtiyu Arts & Media is a creative and cultural hub that uplifts the lived histories, imaginations, and liberatory visions of underrepresented communities. We use storytelling, the arts, and education as tools for transformation. Our goal is to make knowledge, culture, and creative power accessible to all.
We envision a future where the stories of our communities celebrated, where art carries history forward and imagination fuels justice.
Grounded in Chicago’s vibrant cultural traditions and global Black diasporic thought, Kemtiyu creates spaces where learning is communal, media is liberatory, and creativity becomes a force for collective renewal.
