About the event
Embark on an immersive professional development journey designed specifically
for middle and high school educators.
This PD workshop highlights the histories of Black women who transformed Chicago and explores how their legacies, and the diverse neighborhoods that hold their stories, can be brought into the classroom. Over three days, participants will take part in a guided tour through Chicago, an interactive curriculum deep dive, and view the Invisible Giants documentary.
