Join Sustainable Community Schools for a citywide tour and curriculum-based experience designed for Chicago educators.
This Professional Development workshop highlights the histories of Black women who transformed Chicago and explores how their legacies—and the diverse neighborhoods that hold their stories—can be brought into the classroom.
Participants will take part in a guided tour through Chicago, an interactive curriculum deep dive, and explore the Invisible Giants documentary as a teaching resource.
